Village of Milford Community Survey |
| | | Appendix A - Report on a Survey of Citizen Perceptions to the Village of Milford | | | In 2003, the Village partnered with Eastern Michigan University (EMU) to conduct a survey regarding our community. Survey questions were designed to secure demographic characteristics of respondents, to assess citizen attitudes towards specific community concerns, and to determine satisfaction with and use of municipal services. The results of the survey will be used to shape planning and decision-making processes. 956 surveys were mailed out and 413 completed surveys were received by EMU, well above the average response rate of 25-40% for similar mailed surveys.
As a convenient vehicle for presenting data, we have used the questions from the survey as tables to provide frequencies. The data below reflect responses as of October 15, 2003. In all cases, data are presented as percentages; numbers may not add to 100 due to rounding.
